Bisbee’s library is also the Copper Queen Library. The Copper Queen Library started in 1890 with a collection of 457 volumes. Volunteers in the Cochise County County community managed the Copper Queen Library back then.

The Copper Queen Library’s Mission

The Copper Queen Library aims to develop a civilized Cochise County County community. This community is centered on saving and sharing knowledge in Cochise County County.

The Copper Queen Library has an interesting fact. Copper Queen Library arose to provide the people of Cochise County county with a more civilized diversion. It happened after someone hung on a post in 1889.

When the Bisbee library was first founded, its employees were Bisbee community volunteers. But in 1893 the first paid librarian started working in Copper Queen Library.

In 2016, a new reading room opened. Copper Queen Library features at least four Bisbee artists and handles all its sales every year.
