Globe’s library is also the Gila County Library. The Gila County Library started in 1889 with a collection of 350 volumes. Volunteers in the Gila County County community managed the Gila County Library back then.

The Gila County Library’s Mission
The Gila County Library aims to develop a civilized Gila County County community. This community is centered on saving and sharing knowledge in Gila County County.
The Gila County Library has an interesting fact. Gila County Library arose to provide the people of Gila County county with a more civilized diversion. It happened after someone hung on a post in 1890.
When the Globe library was first founded, its employees were Globe community volunteers. But in 1893 the first paid librarian started working in Gila County Library.
In 2016, a new reading room opened. Gila County Library features at least four Globe artists and handles all its sales every year.
