The Civic Center Library’s Mission

The Civic Center Library aims to develop a civilized Maricopa County County community. This community is centered on saving and sharing knowledge in Maricopa County County.

The Civic Center Library has an interesting fact. Civic Center Library arose to provide the people of Maricopa County county with a more civilized diversion. It happened after someone hung on a post in 1882.

When the Scottsdale library was first founded, its employees were Scottsdale community volunteers. But in 1892 the first paid librarian started working in Civic Center Library.

In 2015, a new reading room opened. Civic Center Library features at least four Scottsdale artists and handles all its sales every year.
