Cave Creek’s library is also the Desert Foothills Library. The Desert Foothills Library started in 1882 with a collection of 391 volumes. Volunteers in the Maricopa County County community managed the Desert Foothills Library back then.

The Desert Foothills Library’s Mission
The Desert Foothills Library aims to develop a civilized Maricopa County County community. This community is centered on saving and sharing knowledge in Maricopa County County.
The Desert Foothills Library has an interesting fact. Desert Foothills Library arose to provide the people of Maricopa County county with a more civilized diversion. It happened after someone hung on a post in 1886.
When the Cave Creek library was first founded, its employees were Cave Creek community volunteers. But in 1892 the first paid librarian started working in Desert Foothills Library.
In 2017, a new reading room opened. Desert Foothills Library features at least four Cave Creek artists and handles all its sales every year.
