The Palomino Library’s Mission

The Palomino Library aims to develop a civilized Maricopa County County community. This community is centered on saving and sharing knowledge in Maricopa County County.

The Palomino Library has an interesting fact. Palomino Library arose to provide the people of Maricopa County county with a more civilized diversion. It happened after someone hung on a post in 1880.

When the Scottsdale library was first founded, its employees were Scottsdale community volunteers. But in 1892 the first paid librarian started working in Palomino Library.

In 2015, a new reading room opened. Palomino Library features at least four Scottsdale artists and handles all its sales every year.

Services Offered

The Palomino Library offers public computing services. Palomino Library has computers containing different programs suited for research. For this, the Palomino Library provides free and fast internet access to everyone in the Maricopa County County library.

The Palomino Library has also partnered with Scottsdale Unified School District. Every Scottsdale student has access to Palomino Library resources like links to audiobooks, e-magazines, and e-books.
