The IDEA Museum is where the history of Maricopa County is researched and preserved. The Historical Society of Maricopa County County, established by the Maricopa County county government in 1964, is in charge of the IDEA Museum operations.

IDEA Museum management staff includes: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

The IDEA Museum is located in Mesa on 150 West Pepper Place, Mesa, Arizona, 85201. IDEA Museum operates between Monday and Friday from 10 am to 4 pm. IDEA Museum is also open on Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm. However, IDEA Museum is closed during public holidays.
