The Meteorite Museum is where the history of Maricopa County is researched and preserved. The Historical Society of Maricopa County County, established by the Maricopa County county government in 1965, is in charge of the Meteorite Museum operations.

The Meteorite Museum is located in Tempe on 1151 South Forest Avenue, Tempe, Arizona, 85287. Meteorite Museum operates between Monday and Friday from 10 am to 4 pm. Meteorite Museum is also open on Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm. However, Meteorite Museum is closed during public holidays.
