Jerome’s library is also the Jerome Public Library. The Jerome Public Library started in 1890 with a collection of 506 volumes. Volunteers in the Yavapai County County community managed the Jerome Public Library back then.

The Jerome Public Library’s Mission
The Jerome Public Library aims to develop a civilized Yavapai County County community. This community is centered on saving and sharing knowledge in Yavapai County County.
The Jerome Public Library has an interesting fact. Jerome Public Library arose to provide the people of Yavapai County county with a more civilized diversion. It happened after someone hung on a post in 1887.
When the Jerome library was first founded, its employees were Jerome community volunteers. But in 1894 the first paid librarian started working in Jerome Public Library.
In 2019, a new reading room opened. Jerome Public Library features at least four Jerome artists and handles all its sales every year.
