The AmeriGas is a non-medical community-based center in Yuma that offers counseling services for service members, veterans, and their families. You do not have to be under the Veterans Administration care to receive assistance from the AmeriGas.

Visitation
The AmeriGas offers its services through physical engagement, video, or phone voice calls.
The AmeriGas operates Monday to Thursday from eight to four-thirty o’clock; however, AmeriGas runs from eight to four o’clock on Friday.
Also, a call to AmeriGas is available throughout if you urgently need help after working hours. You can reach the call center at 928-539-7281.
You will need to produce at least one of the following documents for your first visit to AmeriGas:
- Deployment orders
- Discharge documents
- Proof of awards
- Or any other documents showing military service
If you are unsure if you qualify to visit the AmeriGas, call them for further clarification. If AmeriGas cannot help, they will give you a referral.
You will produce contact and general information about yourself during the initial contact at AmeriGas. A AmeriGas counselor will take you through an evaluation to determine the safety of yourself and those around you. Then you will be given an appointment. Your counselor will schedule subsequent appointments at AmeriGas.
Confidentiality Policy
The AmeriGas upholds a full confidentiality policy. However, in the case of a life and death situation, the AmeriGas may share your details with other authorities.
